CES 2009 is here and along with it comes a whole new line of gadgetery that’s bound to make the audioholics amongst us drool. I am amazed the speed at which product innovations are hitting the market. Just a year or so back, people were talking about their ideal TV’s having 4ms response times, capability to do 120MHz, built-in blu-ray players, thinner, lighter, etc, etc….looks like all these requests were delivered this CES 2009.

The drool factor is relatively high on these puppies….and I concur!

• Samsung’s super-thin, wall mountable blu-ray player
• Pioneer’s cheap, entry level a/v receivers with mucho features
• Sharp’s new Acquos line TVs with built-in blu-ray player
